In supervision, we aim to support your practice and development as a therapist, with a view to maintaining and increasing your effectiveness and to ensure you are working in an ethical and professional manner.
We offer a safe, shame free, environment in which you can explore your professional practice. Good practice is identified and celebrated. Reflection on your own thoughts, feelings, behaviour and general approach to your clients is encouraged. We aim to assist you in developing insight into how your own issues might be getting in the way of working effectively with a client and formulating the means to reduce the impact of this in your practice.
Supervision is a central feature of Continuing Professional Development and is an important component in Ethical practice.
The following link shows an outline of the supervision model we use to structure our supervision sessions.
